


Eggshell Veneer & Surfaces
An ancient Vietnamese technique that was introduced to the West in the 1920's, the application of eggshells to surfaces of furniture and interiors is referred to as Coquille d'Oeuf by the French. This labor intensive mosaic treatment is a Chapeau Design specialty, with experienced artisans meticulously applying shells one chip at a time to everything from entire wall surfaces, interiors, cabinetry and tabletops.
